Seed Distribution at Punarchith

 Krishna Prasad from Sahaja visited Punarchith to talk about the importance of local seeds / seed diversity and the ways and means to connect with market. Key highlights of his talk: Majority of the food producers all over the world are small and marginal farmers (implying the big farmers tend to go for cash crops and other value additions) Melas in towns/cities are a great way for small & marginal farmers to connect with consumers with good monetary returns. Every man and woman in the village should think about what variety of grain/vegetable that he/she can bring from their mother's place. That's what they'd leave for their children.
